Lord, I want to thank You for the
lesson to be learned from the Census ordered by the Romans so long ago. Lord,
help me to somehow see beyond the troubles of today and learn that You are
still sovereign and very much in control just like you were over two thousand
years ago. I want to thank You for caring as much today as you cared so many
years ago when Christ was about to be born in Bethlehem. You are a wonderful God who is still in
control of the events in this wicked world.
