This fort is believed to have been constructed about the fifth century B.C. It is thought to have first to been a pagan site, but later was considered to be Christian when St. Patrick used it to baptize a leader of the O'Neil dynasty. It is called Grianan Aileach and is found a few miles west of Letterkenny. It was an awesome site to see!
