God is thoroughly holy and the enemy of our soul has absolutely no defense against this true truth. Musicing lavish praise upon the trinity establishes a strong defense against Satan who is the completely corrupt one. Every Christian must remember that God is real and so is Satan. Although Satan has power, he has no power against the holiness of God.
Furthermore as far back as the statement in
Leviticus 19:1, “And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto all the
congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy:
for I the LORD your God am holy.” Those who follow God are commanded to be
holy. So, musicians who praise God’s
holy character and nature must be partakers of that Divine Nature. As 2Pe 1:4 explains, “Whereby are given unto
us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers
of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world
through lust.”
