Proverbs
23:7A states, “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…”
Today is another beautiful day. It is a beautiful day, not because it is
beautiful outside, but because it is another day that the Lord has provided for
us. If you are a Christian, you have
beauty and peace on the “inside”. Psalm
118:24 reminds us that, “This is the day which
the LORD hath made3; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”
So be
happy and rejoice because in your world it is beautiful both inside and
out. God has provided i.e. made this day
for His glory and for our good. The self
existent eternal God has made this day so that we may truly live and be happy
and rejoice in Him. What more does a
Christian musician need? We have the
LORD dwelling in our life and taking care of us each one individually. That is what makes this day so beautiful and
calls us to praise Him. Psalm 118:28 the
psalmist declares, “Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.”
Since
this day is so beautiful, act like it is beautiful. Many musicians believe that we are what we
eat. I believe that Christian musicians
are what they think. We should,
therefore, never forget that we become what we think in our hearts!
