Prayer for the
day-God Owns Music-Part 2
Lord, I know that you have placed upon me, as a Christian
musician, a solemn and wonderful charge to music SOUNDS unto you. I know that you understand sound and care
about sounds because you created the mechanisms that make sounds possible. Please help me to produce musical sounds
that will bring honor and glory unto you.
Please help me to be able to discern the difference in which sounds are
proper to be produced for the awesomeness and solemnity of worshiping the
triune God. Please give me the spiritual
and musical discernment to tell the difference between the sacred and the profane. These things I pray in your awesome name. Amen.
