The
Picardy 3rd chord
is awesome. Simply
put, the Picardy 3rd chord is a major chord (happy sound) at the end of a minor
song (melancholy sound).
Definition:
.A Picardy third a major third in the final tonic chord of a
composition written in a minor key.
Lesson
learned? Sometimes life is tough -
really tough. But it will be okay in the
end. God will take those minor chords
and progress them perfectly into his Major plan. Sometimes
we just need to hold on for the Picardy 3rd.
