All Christians were once dead in “trespasses
and sins; now they are alive in Christ Jesus.
That fact alone is reason enough to give God all of our worship.

for the Day
I Thank You Lord for being a jealous God. I know that You love me because You are
jealous about my worship. I am thankful
every time I think about the fact that You care about a Kansas farmer like
me. You did not have to love me because
I was and am not worthy of Your coming to suffer and die for my awful sins—but you
did simply because you love me. Thank
You for all that I know (and all that I do not know) that you have done for
me. Amen.
